We draw on ideas of conviviality in actualizing “the eight ‘Rs’” – revalue, reconceptualize, restructure, relocate, redistribute, reduce, reuse and recycle in relation to clothes and textile production and consumption.

Our natural dye project aims to highlight the feasibility of natural dyes in Lancaster and Morecambe and revitalize and relocate dyes that globalisation has divorced from their natural context. See our short video here 

Along with education, we are developing products made out of naturally dyed, recycled cotton, sewn with cotton thread and 100% compostable when they no longer satisfy their needs.

In partnership with Spud Club at Claver Hill, we are building a living collection of natural dye plants, also video tutorials and hopefully camp out when the circumstances with Covid 19 allow us to.

We are also developing The Lancaster textile care collective.
