I’m a textile designer/maker, weaver, felter, knitter and wool merchant working with farmers in The Forest of Bowland and Ribble Valley to promote the use of wool mainly from Lancashire native Lonk sheep. The farms are high nature value, low intensity and I work closely with the farmers and the small Derbyshire based woollen mill where the fleeces are spun into yarn.  Minimal processing is used to impact as little as possible on the environment.
