Working from my garden studio at home in Bolton, I teach individuals and small groups of all ages to weave at whatever level they choose. I have also taught group workshops at a number of guilds, in schools and universities and in 2019 I taught at the Association of Guilds of Weavers, Spinners and Dyers Summer School in York.

I aim to use and encourage the use of sustainable fibres and equipment in my teaching, and my weaving yarns are mostly mill ends.

Twice a year I run residential weaving weekends at Waddow Hall in Clitheroe.

I have a PGCE in Further and Higher Education and completed the Bradford HNC in Handwoven Textile Design in 2006.

I have published a number of downloadable weaving tutorials available via my website.
